What is a house church?
In the New Testament the church is a family of people, often in a home, where each believer gets to contribute. It is people on mission together, not a building you attend.

In the park and in the home, around Clarksville
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
That’s what Paul expected when the church met. Somebody has a song. Somebody has a Scripture. Somebody has a prayer or a word for the person next to them. We’re ordinary people around Clarksville doing that together — no stage, no program to sit through. We read, we pray, and we share a meal that remembers Jesus.
Where we gather
Sometimes we meet in the open at RichEllen Park, 1466 Hwy 149, Clarksville, TN 37040, in the Palmyra community. Those are public open-house gatherings. Neighbors from Clarksville, Erin, Dover, and Cumberland City can pull up a chair, hear the Scriptures, share a meal that remembers Jesus, and pray together.
We also gather in a home. Those meetings are invite-only, simply so everyone can be safe and known. Sundays at 11 a.m., whether we are in the park or in the home. Write us and we will tell you whether we are in the park or in the home, and how an invitation works.

Why disciple making mattersWhen a circle gets too large for every voice to be heard, we multiply with joy. Clarksville, Erin, Dover, Cumberland City, and Palmyra do not need one bigger meeting. They need many faithful ones.
What a gathering is likeWhen we come together
You will not sit in rows and watch a few people do all the ministry. We love a meeting where the Spirit gives something through more than one mouth — a song, a Scripture, a prayer, a word of encouragement. If you are new, you are free to listen and enjoy it.
